BEV'S BIO

More than you ever wanted to know about me.

Beverly Stowe McClure is a former teacher turned writer. When she was a kid, writing was the last thing on her mind. She loved music and played clarinet in the junior high and high school bands. She also was a majorette. She still plays the piano to relax. Thanks, Mom, for making encouraging me to practice. Her cats don’t appreciate good music and run and hide when she tickles the ivories.

She lives in the country with Patches and Tiger (the cats), along with a variety of wild critters that stop by for a handout. Next to her sons, grandchildren, and great-grands, writing is her passion and joy. She also likes to research her family roots and snap pictures of clouds, flowers, and birds, especially the roadrunner that visits on occasion and the hummingbirds that she feeds.

She enjoys reading your comments, so let her know what you think about anything. She'll answer.

You can reach her at Beverlysmcclure (at) aol (dot) com or leave a message here.

Happy Reading.

  3. Hi Beverly,
My name is Pam and I'm writing to you from Vancouver Island, B.C. I have the most amazing children's books written by my partner, and it's like pulling teeth trying to get him to put them out there. He wrote them for his children when they were little (over 13 yrs ago) and I really want to share them with the world. I am a ferocious reader and have never seen writing like this when I was younger finding books to read to my children. I actually stumbled upon your writings thru Chicken Soup for the Soul...Miraculous messages from Heaven. He bought it for me as I've lost 2 of my children and my Grandson before I was even 50yrs old. Anyways, I believe in Divine Intervention, maybe reading your story how your Mom came to you in spirit as she left this realm, and myself having a similar story when my youngest son, Micheal passed, inspired me to contact you. My email address is ivyracer9@gmail.com and I would love to send you a copy of one of his many stories ( they aren't too long, just very sill, joyfull, sad, everything) and maybe get some direction? Thank you for taking the time to read this, I look forward to hearing back from you!
