TODAY IS IWSG FOR NOVEMBER

Our Twitter is @TheIWSG and hashtag #IWSG.

The Insecure Writer’s Support Group

Purpose: To share and encourage. Writers can express doubts and concerns without fear of appearing foolish or weak. Those who have been through the fire can offer assistance and guidance. It’s a safe haven for insecure writers of all kinds!

Posting: The first Wednesday of every month is officially Insecure Writer’s Support Group day. Post your thoughts on your own blog. Talk about your doubts and the fears you have conquered. Discuss your struggles and triumphs. Offer a word of encouragement for others who are struggling. Visit others in the group and connect with your fellow writer.

The awesome co-hosts for the November 4 posting of the IWSG are Jemi Fraser, Kim Lajevardi, L.G Keltner, Tyrean Martinson, and Rachna Chhabria!

Here's ere's some fun. Every month, we announce a question that members can answer in their IWSG Day post. These questions may prompt you to share advice, insight, a personal experience or story. Include your answer to the question in your IWSG post or let it inspire your post if you are struggling with something to say. Remember, the question is optional!!!

November 4 question. Albert Camus once said, "The purpose of a writer is to keep civiliaztion from destroying itself." Flannery O'Conner said, "Iwrite to discover what I know." Authors across time and distance have had many reasons to write. Why do you write what you write?

Great Question. I'm thinking
.
Okay, this is what  comes to mind. I write when out of the blue a title comes to me. That happens quite often. I can be outside taking a walk. I can be eating or playing with the dog or cat. Or maybe a make believe boy or girl will whisper something to me that triggers ideas and a title. Yeah, I know that sounds weird, but the story I'm working on now started with  a title and  a girl, and I'm not sure where it's going. But I'm having fun with it. The kittens, a snake, tadpoles, and a boy who is a bit different. I know you're supposed to have it ll worked out, plot and stuff, but my stories often chnange from what I start so that doesn't work for me. And that's also why I'm so slow. But I have fun. Might even have a hero in a story.

What is your story?
