INSECURE WRITER'S SUPPORT GROUP DECEMBER

It's the first Wednesday in December, which means -

Awesome Ninja Alex J. Cavanaugh is the founder of the IWSG.

His awesome co-hosts for the December 5 posting of the IWSG are J.H. Moncrieff, Tonja Drecker , Patsy Collins, and Chrys Fey!

Every month we have a question. Optional. For December 5th the question is:
What are five objects we'd find in your writing space?

My laptop. My desk. Pictures on the wall. My printer. One or more cats.

(A lot of other stuff because I'm not well organized, but that's the five main things.)

If you're not a member of the IWSG, why not take a look? You'll meet a lot of nice people.  Check here. Visit their sites. Say "Hi."

Happy Writing!

    1. I guess it is, Yvonne. Sometimes there's a snack too. Hope you're having a super day too. It's cold here, so I'm staying inside.

  2. I should've included cats since one of them is often on my desk, usually in the way.

    1. LOL! Cats do seem to want attention when we're the busiest. Patches sometimes sits in my lap while I type.

  3. Do the cats sleep on the printer? Because I bet that's funny when you print something...

    1. Ha,ha! I hadn't thought of that, Alex. But the printer is usually covered with paper reminders of what to do next so they really don't have a chance to nap there.

  4. Yay to the cats. Hopefully, they help out at all the right times.

    1. Of course they do, Tonja. They're the best helpers a writer could want. If you like to see scrambled letters on your manuscript. :)

  5. Cats are always there. Two by me right now at our lair

    1. You have to love them, Pat, cause they love us in their own way. They're also a good excuse to take a break from writing to feed them or play with them.

  6. My dog is nearby when I write like your cats. Pets are such great company, especially when we live alone.

    1. They really are good company, Natalie. I talk to my cats, and now the dog, almost like they're human. Guess that makes me crazy, but they listen.

  7. Being organized is highly overrated. I like things a bit messy and scattered in my writing area. That reminds me how my brain must look while working on a story.

    1. I'm so glad to hear you say that, Lee. When I try to organize stuff, I never can find it again. Who needs an organized brain, anyhow?

  8. Mine is pretty much the same though I have coffee and no cats:)

  9. My list is much the same. Just replace cats with books.

    1. Of course, Chrys. They're curious about what you're doing. Aren't they precious?

  12. My cats are never too far from where I am writing. :)

    1. I understand, Jess. Cats seem to like laps or tops of desks.
