A CAT, EDITS, A CRAZY WRITER

Here's what's happening in my life lately.

First, a Cat

Tiger's looking it over.
Nope! I don't like water!
I know what!

If I only had a pillow!

Second, edits!

Do they ever end?

Third, crazy writer!

Need I say more?

How is your world these days?

(I'm not complaining, just happy I have a story to edit and more are being typed on the computer.) Most of all, I'm happy Tiger and Patches adopted me. Her pictures later.

Happy Writing!

  1. Wonderful pics and post Beverly. I adore cats.
My world is a bit mundane at the moment, not much going on or people to see. Hope yours is better.
    Yvonne.

    1. Thanks, Yvonne. I felt silly today. Just trying to stay cool. Temperature in the 90s today.
      Hope your world brightens up.

    1. Ha, ha. The cat is entertaining. He's different than any other cat that's adopted me. He's priceless.

  5. Tiger probably likes that because it's cool.

    1. I think you're right, Alex. He also curls up in the sink and sleeps.

  6. Calvin used to do that. When the tub was wet though. No, we can't have normal pets...

    1. Ha, ha. Normal pets would be no fun. I think there was a little water in the tub. I've seen him drink it before. I can't imagine why. Doesn't it taste like soap?

  7. Second edits, third edits, fourth...they seem never-ending.

Ha. I've had cats who drank the water by the tub's drain, too.

    1. Tiger does that too, Chrys. And sometimes he drinks it out of the running faucet. Cats are interesting little critters.

    1. Thanks, Kai, I think so too.
I understand about the writing. Sometimes the mood just isn't there. Hope you write pages and pages today.

  9. My recent edits have turned into the biggest rewrite ever! No, I don't think they end, you just get to a point where you can't face them anymore... then you submit!

Thanks for commenting on my guest post on Murees's blog :-)

    1. Mine did too, Annalisa. I thought we were finished after the first and second edits. But no, they came back, again and again. I ended up writing almost the whole story over again. I will never write another stupid princess story, never. I sent it yesterday.
You're welcome. I enjoyed meeting you.

  10. Sounds like things are going well. The kitty pictures made me laugh. My cats crack me up all the time. :)
