Quote for the week:  Changing the world is good for those who want their names in books. But being happy, that is for those who write their names in the lives of others, and hold the hearts of others as the treasure most dear. Orson Scott Card

Sunday, March 20, was the first full day of spring, the earliest arrival of spring since 1896.

Hope you're having spring weather. It's chilly and windy here, but warmer days are ahead.

These are some pictures I took of spring at our place.

This is how Patches celebrated the first day of spring. Good idea.

I just noticed. There's a lot of purple at my house.

Now, back to edits. Do they ever end?

And I need to catch up on reading blogs and updating mine.

Have a great week.

Happy Reading and Writing or just lazing around the house.

  1. I didn't realize that was the earliest spring arrival. It's usually March 21st, right? And it started before midnight this year, which was weird! It was cold here, so we mostly stayed inside with the heat on.

    1. I didn't know it either, Stephanie, until I saw it on the Internet. Just one day early.

    1. Thanks, Karin. It's warming slowly, but the wind makes it feel colder than it is. That Texas wind,

    1. Thanks, Yvonne. Calicos are such pretty cats. Patches is overweight and I try to keep her on a diet, but she eats the other cat's food if I don't put it up. So sorry about your Tabitha. I know you miss her, even after many years.
