Children's Book Week

Children's Book Week is celebrated May 2-8 this year. According to the CBW website, the celebration started in 1919. Check out the history of this countrywide event at Children's Book Week. And take a look at these neat posters.
That was then.

This is now.

Do you have any special plans to celebrate this week? If so, we'd love too hear them.

Happy Reading and Writing.

  2. It is a neat poster, isn't it?

Don't feel bad. I read about this week on another blog. There are so many different celebrations it's hard to keep up with all of them.

  3. Hi Bev and Susan:

There is always so much going on in the children's book industry it is hard to keep up.

I'm featuring various authors through interviews and book reviews all week. May 8th finishes up the week with my book review of Bev's book, Caves, Cannons, and Crinolines.

    Warm regards,
    Donna
