Read Across America

Quote for the week: "The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go."  Dr. Seuss.

Tomorrow, March 2, is Read Across America Day. This event takes place each year on the birthday of Dr. Seuss. Check NEA's Read Across America site for details. You'll find tips, books our Members of Congress love and why, and what schools, libraries, and readers from coast to coast are doing to celebrate this day.

So grab a good book, a kid or two and be part of this event.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DR. SEUSS

  1. I remember when my son was in elementary school. They always celebrated reading and Dr. Seuss's birthday.

  2. Hi, Susanne.

Dr. Seuss's books were some of my sons' favorites. We read them so many times we had them memorized.
